The interest for Pinterest:

Pinterest is now an important social media site which is gearing up for giving tough competition to the ones who rule, Facebook and Twitter. There are many social media marketers who are self-confessed fans of this amazing site, where the images do everything for them. The social media marketing professionals have said that they love Pinterest and apart from the work that they need to do, they also take out time for their own amusement. However, despite their love and appreciation for the social networking site, they also agree that there are a few things that are negative.

Know about it:

Now in order to know what Pinterest is, we have a simple definition for you. Pinterest is like bulletin board on the internet, through which you can post images and share them with people. You can post or ‘pin’ images, as it is called on this platform. It can be an idea, image, photos, about products, your services or a theme that relates to any of them that you provide. Once you have pinned something, you need to write its description as well for better understanding. On this site, things are very much transparent. Anyone gets to see what you post on this site and then they will follow you.

There are reasons why people find it a good one, not so good one and the one which they will never use.

The benefit:

You pin here the ones you like from your website and want others to see as well. This remains together like a collection of all good things about your site and people like it. You can go back to the very first one that you have pinned here and remember the reason of doing so. It keeps you focused with your Pinterest strategy. You will also be able to see who follows you and know what your audience would like to see.

What’s not so good about it?

Pinterest is a fast and easy to understand social networking site. The users are often so inspired by the huge number of images on it, that they keep following it or pin and repin them. And before they realize, they have made hundreds of such collections and really have got nothing to do with it. It can also be that they make create something, like a project but it ends up looking not as alluring and meaningful as the creator may have wanted it to be. This concept known as project backlog isn’t always so successful, not at least with all of them.

There are many who are clueless:

It had been said by many Pinterest users, that whenever they seek help and go to the Pinterestfail and Pinstroisity, (for knowing how to deal better and learn more on Pinterest from these blogs), they have seen many others doing it. This is definitely consoling and encouraging in case you have made a few failures on this site.
