How Google can Treat & Rate your Website

Google update and how you know you won’t be harmed:

What happens when a Google Page Rank update is out? The website owners start to panic and check everything to make sure that it isn’t them who are hurt this time. And they really can’t be blamed. Every time a Google algorithmic update was launched, it had devastating results. More than 60% of the websites were attacked and 3% of the English search results were affected. The recent one target this along with 1.3% of other search results (in different languages). Now Google is going to come up with yet another of Google page rankits updates and all are worried.

But it isn’t much difficult if you know that you haven’t used any unfair means, i.e. any form of black hat SEO for your site. But you also need to know how a website or a blog gets ranked or how it gets scored. This is essential and everyone cares for this. But things are changing fast and you need to know of the new norms and standards by which websites and blogs score and hold ranks.

Google rating through its PageRank strategy:

Google PageRank is important. Through this a website is determined to be either of good quality also with good links or the opposite. The websites are scored on a scale of 1 to 10 depending on their no follow and do follow backlinks. This is perhaps the only metric which the Google is considering right now in understanding the standard of a website. At least for the PageRank the search engine considers this. The other features….well Google known only!

For others and even we are left to wonder what may make the search engine giant happy and what to be avoided to stay from its wrath. However, it is important to have a good PageRank since it further helps you with the search engine results. One thing that you need to know is that Google rates itself as 9. Therefore the rest will always be within 0.8. The more you score the better you are going to be in future with Google. PageRank is going to be important always for the websites.

This too is given to websites as scores and the more you are close to 100 the better it is for you. The Domain authority for a website, however can change suddenly and without warning. Through this it can be understood that a website has everything in the right place. This is based on the overall performance, characteristics of the website. There can be more than 100 factors which together determine the domain authority for a website.

Some of these factors can be the name of the website, i.e. the length of the name, the ratio of the outbound links to the inbound links, how old the website is (it is believed that the more it has aged, the better are the chances for it), linking within the website and not through the home page as the only one to link from and others like that.
