Google had bought DoubleClick that is an online advertising company for 3.1 billion US Dollar in April 2007. It crossed Microsoft after a long fight. Cookies are used by DoubleClick for obtaining and keeping data of the users from the history of the browsers for placing the advertisements of the clients.
