How Social Media is turning out to be
New things are occurring everyday. And this is so true for social media. A lot has been going, and we mean a lot really. There are huge changes and modifications which took place in different social networking sites. For instance, Facebook’s messenger app has a payment feature which is hidden in it. If that is activated by company, it will be giving access to the 200 million users for having money sent to each other with just the use of the debit card, with the information of it. And it costs nothing. The same network has also been rolling out an Auto fill feature which is new and will allow the users to have their credit card saved on their profile. They can also check out things with a lot of merchants of stores. This is really good news.
You may think why Facebook is doing this. Well some of the biggest names out there are doing this. They are aware that mobile internet is the ‘it’ thing now and hence payment through mobile internet will be very much the best and hence they are enabling this feature for them. It isn’t clear if these sites and brands will be charging you money for this service, but it is for sure that they will be having a battle to win and be the one to handle the financial transactions for sure.
New networks on the rocks, but will they stay?
Social media marketing has got just interesting with the rise of a number of social networking sites and a lot of these have been built, keeping in mind the need for privacy, the failure of some bigger names earlier, the information both demographic and also psychographic and also the advertising growing big. There are ones which have been launched last year around April and they are not too keen on loosing the security for their data. But the big question is, will these sites, or networks really be able to stick till the end? There are new sites which are similar to Facebook and they provide with more privacy and bother you less with ads. But they do face trouble, yet. It is true that Google+ has been struggling to get a good user base, so that it has the ability to stand high despite of Facebook towering over all the other sites. This is one challenge that Google+ is facing. Apart from this, there are other new networks which are in the count and they have communities which are already strong with the interests. Thus, they have a better chance as well.
Shopping and social media:
Twitter and Facebook, both this year had began to test all the ‘buy’ buttons to know what will appear with the posts and tweets and also have the users to have the purchases made. This has happened with the click or two from the users. The social media has begun integrating even more and this is will get more increased in 2015 and you need to know this. This is one good thing for the merchants no longer have to worry on how to get their customers.
