Some Changes in Facebook that You Should Know

On Facebook:Ever since the beginning, Facebook was capable of pulling crowds towards it. The social networking site founded by Mark Zuckerberg and other fellow Harvard students was modelled on the facebook that was given to the students in the beginning of their academic year to get introduced to each other and know better. People can now connect to wider circles and there have been radical changes in its settings and other modifications.

Reviewing posts and photos that are tagged:Things have become easier with tagging of posts and other photos. You can scan the photos and the posts of your friends and you can also change settings in a way to get notified when you are being tagged by friends, friends of friends or others. You can go to your activity log in your profile and change settings for this accordingly.

Log out from your account through a missing mobile:Anyone can lose his/her mobile. Nowadays people are logging in with their mobile number. However, if you have lost your mobile you can go to your privacy settings and then click on “Lose your phone”. Once this is done, you can be sure that no one will log into your account through the lost mobile.

Setting for your future posts:You can select what will be the status of your future posts right now. For this you need to go to Privacy Settings -> Privacy -> Who can see my stuff. If you don’t make the change, then your posts will be based on the previous Facebooksettings.

Preventing others from finding you on Facebook:In case you don’t want to be available to others and want only your friends and relatives be the ones knowing you on this platform, you can change the settings accordingly. Simply, go to Privacy Settings -> Privacy -> Who can look me up. With this change made you can also stay away from the search engine search results.

Filtering messages for your profile inbox:On Facebook, you can get messages from anyone and vice versa. However, if you wish to change this mostly to avoid spams in your inbox, you can both go to the privacy settings and change the settings for those who can contact you and also go to the message settings and filter the spam from there.

Reporting problems on Facebook:You can go to Help -> Report a problem -> Report a problem (this is done twice) and then write down the issue.
