According to a report, the length of titles in search results snippets has been increased by Google. Certain tracking tools display that the average length of page titles in search results has been changed. It has enhanced from 55 to 83 characters on average basis.

In the last December, Google has increased the length of Meta descriptions for decreasing the length later. So time will show us whether Google will maintain the increased length.
